Less Is More: An Abstract Mindful Mindset
I like abstract photos as they purposely leave imagination and individual interpretation up to the viewer. Unique imagination and diversity of a human's perspective are key building blocks of creativity.
While shooting abstract photos, I train myself to extract more from a given resource. Thus, a rusty metal spiral captured from a unique angle becomes inspiring.
Sometimes I try to communicate with the viewers by implying an idea or a dialog that my eyes track.
Macro shooting sharpens my mindfulness- related skills because it is based on observation and a strong connection to the environment. I become meditative and my senses more alive. I learn to be thankful to basic beauty, like light, a structure of a leaf or a spider web.
At the end of the day, my goal is to develop an abstract state of mind - less is more. Enjoy.
